Farmate provides tools to find farms, create lists, save contact details, track outreach and organise agricultural work periods in Australia. Some features are free and some verified farm lists are paid.

Farmate is not a recruitment agency, employer, lawyer, immigration adviser or government body. Farmate does not promise a reply, job, accommodation, particular pay or validation of work days.

You must provide accurate information, keep access to your email secure and use your account only for yourself or with your travel partner. You are responsible for actions taken from your account.

Access and purchases are personal and may not be resold, transferred or shared publicly. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us promptly at hello@farmate.app.

Farmate purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. The price, currency, product, regions and included content are shown before payment. Stripe processes the payment.

A state list unlocks the content shown for that state. A product covering all of Australia includes current and future lists only where that coverage is clearly stated at purchase.

After payment confirmation, content is linked to your account. Keep access to the email used for that account and contact hello@farmate.app if a confirmed purchase does not unlock.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, we generally do not offer a refund for a change of mind after immediate access to digital content is unlocked. Email hello@farmate.app with any purchase request.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded, including guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and any mandatory protection that applies in your country of residence. If Farmate fails to meet a mandatory guarantee, you may be entitled to a correction, replacement, cancellation, refund or another remedy provided by law.

We make reasonable efforts to verify and update farm contact details and information. Seasons, recruitment, pay, accommodation, contacts and eligibility criteria change quickly. Some information may therefore become inaccurate, unavailable or incomplete.

Before travelling or accepting work, verify the role, contract, rate, hours, accommodation, transport and work conditions directly with the farm. Also check workplace rights with Fair Work and visa rules with the Department of Home Affairs.

The 88 days tracker organises information you enter and produces a practical estimate. It does not determine eligibility, replace official evidence or guarantee any visa decision.

Rules can change and depend on matters including your visa subclass, work, location, dates and employer circumstances. You must check official sources and keep your own contracts, payslips, bank statements, tax records and other evidence.

You remain responsible for farms, contact details, notes, comments, scripts and work information you add. You allow us to host, process and display this content only as needed to operate Farmate and provide your workspace.

Do not add unlawful, misleading or abusive content, or content that infringes another person’s rights. When you add details about a farm or contact, use them only for a legitimate search and comply with applicable rules.

You may use Farmate to organise your own agricultural work search or a search conducted with your travel partner.

• Do not resell, republish or publicly share farm lists.
• Do not copy, collect or export content in bulk to create a database or competing service.
• Do not try to bypass access rules, technical limits, security or payments.
• Do not use Farmate to spam, harass, mislead or contact farms abusively.
• Do not introduce malicious software or disrupt the service.

Farmate uses providers including Supabase, Stripe, Resend, PostHog, Vercel and Google Maps Platform. Links may also open farm sites, social networks, maps or official sources. Those services apply their own terms and policies.

Farmate does not control the availability, content or practices of third-party sites. Check their information before sharing data or making a decision.

Farmate, its brand, interface, guides, copy and the selection or organisation of its lists are protected. These terms give you a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership of Farmate or its content to you.

We may fix, improve, add or remove features, particularly free features, to develop or secure Farmate. Interruptions may happen for maintenance, incidents or causes outside our control.

We will handle material changes affecting a purchase or mandatory right in line with applicable law. No online service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption or error.

We may limit or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect Farmate, investigate fraud, meet a legal obligation or stop a material breach of these terms. Where possible, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to fix it.

You can request account closure at hello@farmate.app. Some purchase, security or accounting data may be kept where required by law or the defence of legal rights.

You remain responsible for applications, communications, travel, documents, visa decisions and employment relationships. To the extent permitted by law, Farmate is not liable for indirect loss, missed opportunities, a farm’s conduct, work disputes or decisions based only on information that has become inaccurate.

This limitation does not apply where liability or a remedy cannot be excluded or limited by law.

We may update these terms as Farmate or the law changes. The displayed date identifies the applicable version. If a material change affects your use, we may notify you in Farmate or by email. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means acceptance where permitted by law.

These terms are governed by applicable laws in Australia without removing mandatory protections available where you live. Before starting a proceeding, contact hello@farmate.app so we can try to resolve the matter in good faith.
